Sizes 6-8-10 need around 1 yard each of fabric and lining for the short version, and 1 1/2 yard each of fabric and lining for the longer version ; sizes 12-14-16-18 need around 1 3/4 yard each of fabric and lining for the short version, and 1 3/4 yard each of fabric and lining for the longer version; and sizes 20-22-24-26 need around 1 1/2 yard each of fabric and lining for the short version, and 2 1/4 yard each of fabric and lining for the longer version.
All yardages are for 60"/ 150 cm wide fabric...we recommend a contrast lining for total gorgeousness!
You will also need about 1/4 yard of interfacing, 1 x 8”/ 20 cm zipper, 1 x 0.5”/ 13 mm button & a trouser hook & eye closure.
To complete the skirt as shown in the sketch, you also need scraps of a contrast fabric for the tab trim, 2 x 1/2” /13 mm self colored buttons, 2 x 1/2” / 13 mm buttons to match the contrast tabs and 2 x 1/2'' / 13 mm” star-shaped buttons.
