Casual chic in these great pants, designed for a crisp or drapey light or medium weight linen, taffeta, cotton sateen, tropical weight wool, double knits, cotton shirting, or silk dupioni, satin, charmeuse or crepe.

Relaxed-fit full length or cropped pants sit around 1 1/2” below the natural waist, and feature a faced waist with belt loops, button fastening and a fly front zipper. Pants have side and inner leg inserts, pieced front & back legs, side bellows pocket and a drawstring finish at the hem. The fronts have seam pockets; the back has a yoke and seam pockets with buttoned flaps. Topstitching is optional but unbelievably fabulous!

Think of these as a dressy track-pant, in which case team them with your favorite T-shirts, a funky cardigan and athletic-inspired flats, or as a relaxed everyday piece, to be dressed up with an elegant top, jacket, and a killer pair of heels. Sporty chic at its’ best!

Sizes 6-8-10-12 need around 2 3/4 yards/ 2.52 m of fabric; sizes 14-16-18-20 need around 3 yards/ 2.75 m of fabric; sizes 22-24-26 need around 3 1/4 yards/ x 2.98 m of fabric. All sizes also need 1 x 1”/2.5cm button plus 3 x 3/4”/ 2 cm buttons; 1 x 7”/18cm zipper; and lots of topstitching thread. We recommend using a lightweight interfacing for the waistband, leg inserts and pocket flaps, or you can simply interline them with a lightweight voile or batiste-type fabric...you’ll need about 1/2 yard/ 45 cm.
