They are designed for fabrics like denim, canvas and heavy tweed, real or faux suede or leather, or try a short pile faux fur like astrakhan, ocelot or pony...mmmm! Tote has a zippered top with triangular handle bases and stud trim, and features side pockets. Handbag has zippered top, top-mounted handles, shaped handle bases & stud trim. Both bags are lined and feature optional phone & zippered pockets and handbag feet.

Fabric: 
Tote needs around 3/4 yard each of fabric and lining, plus 1 x 12" zipper, 1 x 20" zipper, 1/2 yard of faux/real leather/suede, 4 x 2" diameter rings and 12 x 1/4" diameter studs. Handbag needs around 1/2 yard each of fabric and lining, plus 2 x 14" zippers, 1/4 yard of faux/real leather/suede, 4 x 1" wide D-rings and 8 x 1/4" diameter studs. Both bags also need 4 x 1" wide D-rings, 3 yards purchased bias oR bias made from the lining, and 4 handbag feet. Interfacing and/or canvas mount is optional. All yardages are for 60" wide fabric.
