    Great basic T-shirt for wovens

Published by Becky Pearson on 23rd Dec 2015

This is a really flattering top for many body types. I love that it can be made with about any fabric you like. I made my first with a rayon challis that drapes really well and love it. I didn't need the back neck opening, but it's cute. It is generously sized so you can take it in where you want it. I did do a full bust enlargement . It is a great basic pattern to play with designing also. Trudy has a great video also to give a lot of great styling ideas.

    Easy and fast

Came out beautifully! I used a heavy-ish linen for a nice day dress that I could wear to work. Sizing is generous. Next time I'll do one size smaller. I made a pleat in the inner pocket lining so that I could put things in the pocket without distorting the outer line much. I also sewed up the bottom 1/4 of the pocket opening so that items couldn't fall out. Overall, a great design and fun to sew!
