Want a super-chic, go-everywhere, suits-everyone,
wear-with-anything top? Try these, designed for light
to medium-weight drape-y knits like silk(y) jersey,
rayon, linen or modal. The hem and sleeve bands
need a little stretch, so if your fabric doesn’t have a
good stretch & recovery, consider a contrast knit or rib trim.
Semi-fitted, pull-on tops feature a scooped neck;
the bodice is straight-sided and pleats onto the
front neckband. Choose your perfect sleeve...
sleeveless, short or full-length sleeves; sleeves &
hip-length hem are finished with a knit or rib welt.
These must-have tops are perfect in your favorite
prints and solid tones; add embellishments
to make them uniquely yours. These gorgeous tops
work with any slim skirt, jean or pant, and you can
wear them as-is or top them off with a chic fitted
blazer, a drape-y cardigan or a cool-girl moto jacket.
For the sleeveless OR short sleeved versions in
sizes 6-8-10-12-14-16 you’ll need around
1 3/4 yards/160cm of fabric; for the sleeveless OR
short sleeved versions in sizes 18-20-22-24-26
you’ll need around 2 yards/182cm of fabric;
for all sizes add ½ yard/45cm for the long sleeved version.

Fabric amounts are for 60”/150cm wide fabric.
I made two of these last summer and practically lived in them. They are cool, breezy tops that are really easy to make and will get you lots of compliments. If you are looking for an instant gratification project, this is it!
