For a casual-glam T-shirt choose this airy, floaty top,
designed for lightweight drape-y T-shirt fabrics like rayon,
bamboo, silk(y) jersey, burnout or linen T-shirt knits.
Loose-fit, pull-on T has a 'poncho' silhouette with raglan
sleeves, a center front seam and a 'V' neck with narrow
self-fabric binding. Finish the edges with a narrow hem,
leave them raw or add luxe trim for a cool boho look.
This T works best in solid toned knits, and looks fabulous
with matching or contrast fringe or trim around the hems
or at the neckline. This is the perfect top to wear on the
weekend or on vacation; it looks great with jeans, pants or
shorts, and for casual nights out, make your top in a
statement knit with some sparkly trims.
Sizes 6-8-10-12-14-16 will need around 1 ½ yards or 138cm fabric;
sizes18-20-22-24-26 will need around 1 3/4 yards or 160 cm fabric.
That's it! No zippers, buttons, snaps; just fabric...
All fabric allowances are for 60â or 150cm wide fabrics.
I made this in a straight size 24 (my hips are a 26 but I did not grade up), and it fit perfectly! It is extremely flattering and easy to make. I made it in a rayon/spandex blend, and I love it!
This pattern was perfect, right off of the printer! I made it out of a rayon French Terry in a sort of "tie dye" print and extended the hem about 1" based on review. It is a new favorite. Just trying to decide what to make from it next. The idea of fun hem treatments are very appealing.
Fits beautifully and is so comfortable.
