Make this elegant Kimono-inspired piece

in fluid blouse-weight wovens like crepe,
rayon challis, charmeuse, voile, washed
linen or chambray, all-over lace, gauze,
georgette or panne velvet. You can also
use drape-y knits like bamboo, rayon,
light ponte, ITY, silk(y) or linen jersey.

Semi-fitted, unlined shirt-jacket has a
straight silhouette with Dior darts and
side seam-underarm panels. Jacket
features 3/4 length cut-on Kimono-style
sleeves with banded hems. Shirt-jacket
has a rounded collar & lapel, and closes
with buttons. Patch pockets and piping
are optional but highly recommended.

This easy-to-wear beauty can be worn
open as a floaty kimono, buttoned closed
and tucked into pants or a skirt, or as a
soft jacket. Wear with jeans, slim or full
pants or a slim skirt; add a belt or leave
it loose.  And of course, this will make a
truly gorgeous lounge or sleep shirt...
